Client: Smith’s Old School Math Tutoring // Colorado Springs, CO
For longtime public school math teacher Russ Smith, learning math is as easy as 1, 2, 3. It just takes the right teacher and the right method to get the job done. When Covid disrupted the schedules of students and teachers like him around the world, Russ saw how hard it was for all parties involved to catch up. So he founded “Smith’s Old School Math Tutoring” to help and offer flexible, on-demand math tutoring sessions online for an affordable monthly fee. To complement his no nonsense, old school teaching style, we created a brand for him that was a mix of comforting nostalgia and modern simplicity. His identity pieces included a logo design, business cards, post cards, social media graphics, and website. To pay homage to the Colorado native’s beloved Denver Broncos, the color palette is a bold and eye catching orange and blue.
